My name is Ricardo Mena and my wife is called Tania Garcia, we have currently been married for 32 years and as a result of our love we have two children, Javier Mena and Jasiel Mena. We are both natives of Havana, Cuba
We met the Lord in Cuba at the beginning of 1993, both having a genuine conversion, some time after our decision to follow Jesus we were baptized in water and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit beginning our service to the Lord. |
Understanding the call of God in my life to save souls, I began to go to prisons to preach as a guest, in 1994 I became Youth Pastor in the Evangelical League Church of Cuba under the supervision of Pastor Alejandro Nieto and at the same time as collaborators from the United in Love Ministry in the same church, where we gave spiritual care to AIDS patients at a national level, that same year I traveled to Venezuela to receive a course in Missiology accredited by the "International School of Missions" Seminary located in Arroyo, Puerto Rico from which I graduated.
We began working with the Cristo Rey Ministry in 1996 under the leadership of Pastor Víctor Pérez, there I worked as Associate Youth Pastor and supported the development of the Orozco church in Pinar del Rio, in 1998 we were sent as missionaries to the town of Boca de Mariel to follow up on the church established by the Apostle Luis Capdevilla, this same year I graduated from the evangelism course of the course " Power & Light Gospel" of the "International School of Evangelism" located in Siloam Spring, Arkansas.
Over time and as a result of hard work we planted 4 churches in the towns surrounding Boca de Mariel, we also planted a Church in Tuna de Zaza in Santi Espiritu, in 2002 I was ordained as Pastor together with my wife by the Apostle Luis Capdevilla and Prophet Pedro González, all this work was accompanied by evangelistic crusades that we did throughout Cuba, providing spiritual and economic support to pastors of different denominations throughout the country, for our testimony I was ordained by the Council as a Priest from the Eastern zone of Cuba, continuing our work throughout the Island.
In December 2006 the whole family traveled to the USA, for eight years we were as visitors focused on the development of my family and particularly of our children. We started the Puente de Esperanza Ministry in 2014, in which we minister to this day and where we have never stopped giving spiritual and economic support to our children. The spirituals in Cuba.
We graduated in 2016 as Bachelors in Theology from the National Evangelical Seminary in Cuba, accredited by the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education/ World Evangelical Alliance, ICETE.
We were ordained as Apostles by The King's Ministries International in January 2021.
Currently our Ministry has 6 Churches, 5 of them located in Boca de Mariel and surrounding towns and one in the province of Las Tunas.
From 2003 to date we have been ministering in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic giving spiritual and economic support to the Remar Ministry.
Our desire is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, whom I love because He first loved me, He has called me to guide their children through the teaching and preaching of his word. (2 Timothy 4:2) My greatest joy is to see others finding about Christ and walking in his path of obedience, being myself worthy to be an example for others to follow Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1)
Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to the only true God.
