​My name is Carlos John Melendez III, and I was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1970. (I go by John.)

We moved to Tampa, Florida in 1980, and it is here where I planted my roots and started a family, and a career. I am blessed to work for Tampa Electric. My wife Kim and I have been married for 26 years, and we have two daughters.

​In 2010 we decided to attend church at Tabernacle of God Church, and it was through their intercession that I was saved and gave my life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Since then, I have answered the call to baptize, marry two couples (as a Notary), all in the blessed name of Jesus.

Most recently I have answered the call to minister personally to those seeking deliverance and salvation through Jesus. I have a call scheduled this week to help a mother and her daughter who have had trouble in their lives but have asked for help, and they were led to me.

I am also marrying a couple in January, the bride whom I've known since she was a very young girl as she went to grade school with my daughter.

​In my spare time I am a fisherman, and a fisher of men. It would be my humble honor to be ordained on the night of this blessed event to which I was invited, in Jesus' holy name, amen.
