The next few years in my marriage, God gave me the opportunity of raising two wonderful children, Matthew and Micah. They were dedicated to the Lord, saved and belong to Christ. I was married to the late Bob Mitcham for 40 years who served as a Circuit Judge in Tampa and we had 40 wonderful years together before his promotion to heaven.
My training and calling with my secular jobs have always pointed me in challenging situations and God has always given me favor. He uses each situation if we are available and usually not convenient times. My goal in my journey is to do His Will and use my spiritual gifts. One of those gifts is hospitality and meeting everyone just where they are in life. The love of Christ does the rest. I want to be used in every capacity in this journey of life and that the heart of the Father sine in me. One of my favorite verses is Matthew 25:40 “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Bachelor of Arts – Sociology Work Experience: Currently at Ferguson Law Center – Director of Lawyer Referral – 12 years Make a Wish Foundation Coordinator- Coordinated wishes for dying children Victim Advocate – USF- 15 years- Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Court Interpreter – Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Volunteer: Project Transition USA – Supporting Veterans in transition Veteran’s Military and Affairs Committee- Prayer and Crisis Prayer Line (Joy FM) – 2 hours weekly – 4 years Board of Directors for Love and Hope – Placement of Foster Children Board of Directors of Home Owner’s Association Served on Board of Directors of Lighthouse Ministries Shelter for Women
